This translation is provided for information only; the French version alone is legally binding.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the chauffeured passenger transport services offered by Tony Roche, sole trader operating under the trading name Maison Roche, hereinafter "the service provider". Any booking implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.
2. Booking
Bookings may be made by telephone, by e-mail or through the website form. They become binding only upon written confirmation from the service provider specifying the journey, the time, the vehicle and the agreed price.
Minimum booking notice: six hours before pick-up. Later requests receive the utmost attention and are accommodated wherever availability allows.
3. Prices
Prices are quoted individually, expressed in euros inclusive of all taxes, and fixed once the booking is confirmed. They include the vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel, and the tolls and parking fees related to the agreed journey.
Services charged in addition: waiting time beyond the included duration and any change to the
agreed itinerary.
Included waiting time: 1 h 30 at airports, 30 minutes at railway stations as at any other pick-up address.
Once this time has elapsed, if the client cannot be reached despite the chauffeur's attempts to make contact, the booking is treated as a no-show and the full price remains payable.
4. Payment
Accepted means of payment: cash, bank card and bank transfer.
Payment due: at the time of booking or on the day of the service. For business clients, thirty
days end of month.
Any late payment automatically incurs penalties at the applicable statutory rate, together with a fixed indemnity for recovery costs.
5. Cancellation and changes
Any cancellation must be notified by telephone or in writing. Applicable conditions:
- Transfers and chauffeur-at-disposal services: free of charge up to three hours before pick-up
- Excursions: free of charge up to six hours before pick-up
- Events: free of charge up to one week before the service
- Cancellation after these deadlines: 50% of the agreed price remains payable
- Client not present at the agreed place and time: the full agreed price remains payable
The service provider reserves the right to cancel a service in the event of force majeure, traffic conditions making the journey impracticable, or immobilisation of the vehicle. Any sums already paid are then refunded in full.
6. Client obligations
The client shall be present at the agreed place and time, respect the vehicle and the safety instructions, and is liable for any damage they may cause to it. Wearing a seat belt is mandatory. Smoking and vaping are prohibited on board; any breach of this rule may result in a cleaning charge of up to €250 including tax. The carriage of animals and bulky luggage must be notified at the time of booking.
7. Liability
The service provider is bound by an obligation of means regarding punctuality: it cannot be held liable for a delay attributable to traffic, weather conditions or any other event beyond its control. Its liability is covered by professional liability insurance.
Items left on board are kept for two weeks and returned upon proof of ownership.
8. Personal data
The processing of data collected in connection with a booking is described in the privacy policy.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable solution before any legal action.
